Sooo I don't really like the current style of my homepage. That's mostly it. It's not mobile friendly, it lacks a good light mode, and I just kinda whipped it up in a day.
So here's a new homepage design. It's more visually cleaner and simple, and there's also a cool lil animation thing going on at the top.
It's designed so it functions better as a "link-in-bio" type thing. My socials are just right there at the top, you get a small gist of what I do, and there's the other sections of my site below.
Currently I've been somewhat of a sucker for 1-bit color. The Panic Playdate and the nice!view... so good. I ended up mimicking the colors here. (However, it being of color is starting to feel lame, so I'll likely abandon this and get a proper color scheme)
I'm going to add more into this version of the website in the future. It's kinda plain in functionality, which is entirely my intention!
Point-and-click adventure type website
Okay okay okay, so to be real, this new version of my website was originally intended to be entirely a point-and-click type thing. tetrisk-lair was a large inspiration.
The internals are mostly done. I just have to like, make the dang rooms for it. I just haven't. It's possible that I will do this soon... i dunno... gosh i'm tired it's late night
88x31 buttons
I have a large backlog of 88x31 buttons I want to add but I just haven't really gotten to adding them, mostly due to friction. My links page is on the old, crusty and slow version of my website. It's kinda lame having to spin it up, just to add buttons into it. Boo!!
There's also a lot of people I have linked that I'm just not really connected with anymore. I probably haven't visited their website anywhere in a while.
Lastly, I want to make a new 88x31 button for my site. The current one is kinda meh. The "dabric" text is out of place, using Catpuccin as a color scheme kinda didn't work out well for it, and the art is kinda old. I don't feel it represents me as much anymore.
